Paul is writing to the Philippian church from prison. Yet despite his circumstance, perhaps even because of his circumstances, Paul is able to express deep thankfulness for his partnership with the Philippian church. “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Read Philippians 1:3-8.
Consider how you communicate, particularly in writing/emails. Often we express our desire for good circumstances in people’s lives (ie., I hope your day is good). Equally, try communicating your thankfulness for people. Bless people by recognizing their contribution to blessing.
