The Awaken Garden Collective was founded in with the vision with the vision of promoting soil health, food security, and community cohesion in the Community of Bowness.

Soil Health

Understanding that healthy bodies begin with healthy food and healthy food begins with healthy soil, we are taking efforts to understand and nurture the soil.

Food Security

Believing everyone in our community should be able to have access to nutrient dense food, we are working towards learning ourselves how to garden sustainably and locally with the hopes to share that knowledge with others.

Community Building

Benefiting from shared wisdom and work efforts we desire to build a sense of community around the common interest of gardening, growing food, learning from the land and valuing one another.
